Alternately come off the A64 for Elvington (Yorkshire air museum) keep going past Elvington and watch out for and follow the little yellow York dragway signs.

How close is it to Seaton Ross? Quickest route for me would be to turn
north at Crowle, but I'm not familiar with anything north of Eastoft ...

I can print out a map, but without the exact location, and if the signs are
missing, I'll probably end up going in circles :?

Directions from HERE would be great :)

Welcome to the boards, hope to see you at York this year, heresa an updated linke to the map you showed, the Track is actually at Melrose farm (you can see the 'runway & peri roads marked) just drive past the main farm gate & the entrance to the race track is a little further on, hope this helps :)

Thanks, that answers my question perfectly :)

By the way, do you know the Mustang II owner in Scunny? White with garage logos etc (the Mustang, not the owner).

When I saw it, it was running the original motor, but was going to get sorted
when the garage was on a quiet patch. Given the owner's stack of stuff from
racing at the 'Pod in the '80s, I believed him ... must pop back in and see, it
was the best part of a year ago since I've been in there!

Just to add to the above directions. This post code YO42 4ST takes you as near as possible to an entrance/exit gate to the strip if you want to find a map yourself. Or you can use this one to find your way from the North or the M62 etc.

Does anyone know if the signs are back up coming from elvington? From memory these is only one right turn to make once you have passed elvington. Is that right? Got some friends coming from skipton and Leeds and view haven't been before. Don't want to say look for the yellow signs when these not there.lol
