I used North East engines in Darlington on the recomendation of Mark Flavell. They seem to have done a good job.
The problem with the race engine shops is that at this time of year they are too busy and put the bigger money jobs through first which always seems to turn into a long wait.

w.drakes in bradford do a good job,i have used them for over twenty years and never had a problem, they have just done a load of machine work on daz oxleys 452 mopar and they also do a lot of work for dave billadeau .they also sponsor york (or did) so it makes sense to give a bit back.

They are an associate sponsor of American Super/Stock & I too can recommend them, They did all the machine work on my SBF.

Drakes quoted £235 for a +20 rebore.
All i need now is to know i have another job to go to in March then i can get the ball rolling and buy some pistons and rings.

Does anyone know of Lancaster Engines in Lancaster or Redmans engine centre in Fleetwood?
